Following an initial phone call with you or a request by social services or a NHS; one of our friendly nurse managers will come to your home and discuss your care needs and create a care plan with you.

We work with Cumbria, North Yorkshire and Lancashire social services and NHS to provide packages of care.

We also provide care:

  • On a private basis
  • By direct payments

OUR CARERS

As a provider of domiciliary care, we can provide you with a trained carer who can assist you to live an independent life.

All our carers are:

  • DBS and reference checked.
  • Employed and fully insured by us.
  • Have successfully passed our comprehensive induction training course.
  • Receive annual mandatory update training and regular supervisions
  • Supervised by our qualified nursing team and care managers

Carer Training:

Our PAs complete our induction course, which meets all of the Skills for Care – Care Certificate Standards. Each year they undertake mandatory update training and have regular supervisions with their line manager. They have access, including out of office hours, to our nurse managers and care managers if they have any queries or concerns. They have an out of office hours contact number if there is an emergency situation.

In line with the Care Quality Commission CQC in England, we encourage the on-going development of our staff by offering them the opportunity to study for the Diploma in Health and Social Care.
